How do you solve for the area for a complex figure

Explanation:

It varies depending on the structure of the figure your taling about. If it is a bunch of squares or rectangles, you get the perimeter of all sides and then you try to make the figure into smaller squares or rectangles. After that now find the perimeter of the new side (opposit side should tell you) and then find the area for all the rectangles and squares.
