• It provided the assistance to mujahedeen and his men by providing their intelligence services.

• This was called as operation cyclone. U.S supported him as their eyes was already on Afghanistan.

• It provided them all the weapons needed. The main interest of U.S was to get the oil and became even more powerful nation. On the other hand, mujahedeen wanted to spread jihad.
