Perimeter of shape B = 50 cm

Explanation:

Perimeter of shape A = 60 cm

Let the length of each square = x cm

Total length of free boundaries of shape A = 12x

Therefore, 12x = 60

x = 5 cm

Now length surfaces of shape B = 10x

Perimeter of shape B = 10x

= 10(5)

= 50 cm
