describe how the results of the hershey-chase experiment would have been different if proteins were the genetic material

The results would have found that it was radioactive Sulfur that was passed from other generations in the infection rather than the radioactive phosphorous discovered in the DNA. But Hershey and Chase concluded that DNA, not protein, was the genetic material.
