The Mayans are a group of indigenous people that built an impressive civilization that spanned across Mesoamerica, present day Mexico and Central America. They were known to be very impressive, innovative people that have developed many things that still contribute to today’s society. The Mayans were great religious, astounding mathematicians, astrologists, and architects and have created many systems that are still in use today.
