If a light bulb is missing or broken in a series circuit, will the other bulb light? Explain.

Answer:

In the case that the light bulb is missing or broken, the circuit is essentially unclosed and the current will not be able to flow through in a series circuit and there is no other alternative pathways for the current to reach the other light bulb hence the other light bulb will not light up.
