Answer: it should be as simple and logical as possible.

Explanation: when producing a scientific theory, one shouldn't introduce stretched realities. For example, if I come back home and find the fridge open, it's very unlikely that a pink elephant came into my house while I was gone and opened it, I must have left it open when I left.
