Agriculture

When agriculture began it allowed civilization to prosper by allowing a abundance of food. With extra food not everyone had to hunt or scavenge for food. Thus causing people to create art, learn, and create new things other than survival. That is why Ancient Mesopotamia was considered as a real civilization.
