Belzec, Sobibor, and Treblinka were all extermination camps set up by German forces to kill Jewish individuals. Auschwitz was the most deadly of the camps, but Belzec, Sobibor, and Treblinka were very deadly as well. The Schutzstaffel, also known as SS, were German guards who primarily ran these camps, and were followers of Adolf Hitler and members of the Nazi Party. The SS did terrible actions and many Jews were forced into gas chambers to die.
