According to Koran, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah (God). There is no one else. There are brief allusions to the prophet in Islam´s holy book. He is pointed at as a model of belief and for guidance, as one who truly fears Allah, one who is blessed by God ans his angels and posesses sublime moral excelence. The basic Islamic creed is that there is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is His prophet.
