Brian has made 9 of 19 free throws so far this season.

His goal is to make 70% of his free throws.
If Brian makes his next x free throws in a row, the function
f(x) = ax represents Brian's new ratio of free throws made.
How many successful free throws in a row will raise
Brian's percent made to at least 70%?
Is this a reasonable answer? Explain.

Answer:

if you think about it he should make 3 free throws in a row cuz for each 3 free throws he can get closer to reaching his goal

Explanation:

1. He can start of simple & start with 1 free throw.

2. He can go up & try 2 free throws.

3. Practice 2 free throws.

4. Try 3 free throws.

5. Keep practicing 3 free throws until he has reached his goal.
