How does erosion differ from weathering?

Answer: Weathering occurs in one location whereas erosion involves movement of the sediment to a different location.

Explanation: Erosion hasn’t to do with moving soil/rock through natural forces such as wind, water, and ice, whereas weathering is just the breaking down of rock.
