1. In one sense, the First Crusade was a success because they managed to take Jerusalem from the Muslims but there were also many consequences of the First Crusade.
2. Although the Crusaders managed to take Jerusalem from the Muslims, there were still many crusades after.
3. More crusades was one consequence of the First Crusade because even though this crusade in a sense was successful, it failed in keeping peace in the holy land and the Christians failed to keep Jerusalem and their Crusader States.
4. The Crusader States later managed to fall to the Muslims one by one as time passed.
5. The Christians were only able to hold on to Jerusalem for about 100 years, so in the long run the First Crusade was a fail.
