It a rational number beacuse its not a whole number since its a decimal and its not a integer beacuse its not a whole number it can only be a interger if its a whole number but its a decimal. The rational number can be any number it can also be a fraction.

The rational numbers includes all positive numbers, negative numbers and zero that can be written as a ratio (fraction) of one number over another. Whole numbers, integers, fractions, terminating decimals and repeating decimals are all rational numbers.

Also, rational number as it can be expressed as p/q, where p & q are integers & q is not zero
