x=-1/2

Explanation:

x+3+5x

you would combine like terms so x and 5x

that would give you 3+6x=0

so you minus your 6x, 3=-6x

you then divide by -6 which gives you x=-1/2

or if you were just simplifying it then it would be 3+6x

Explanation:

Just add the X's (5x + x)=6x, since there is only one whole number without any variables you dont have to do anything to it. So 6x + 3 is your answer.
