3 (x-2) <18

We apply distributive property on the left side of inequality:


3x-3 * 2 <18\\3x-6 <18

We add 6 to both sides of the inequality:


3x <18 + 6\\3x <24

We divide between 3 on both sides of the inequality:


x <\frac {24} {3}\\x <8

Thus, the solution is given by all the values of "x" less than 8.
