(x, y) such that
x + y = -4 and
5 at the same time. This is clearly not possible.

So we say this system of equations is inconsistent and have no solutions.

This means that when we graph them these two lines will never intersect and in fact they are a pair of parallel lines.

So, the system does not have a solution.
