If you fall off your roof and land on a trampoline versus the ground, there is a good chance

you will not be hurt. Why is this so? EXPLAIN IN TERMS OF IMPULSE

Answer:

This is because a trampoline is an object that works against motion in its direction. Its bounciness impedes any object from falling through it, to an extent to the amount of pressure and weight applied to the trampoline. The trampoline would push you back up and you will land on it again once the force has been used up.
