An ice machine uses 3 gallons of water every 9 hours. How many gallons of water does it use each hour? How many hours does it take to use one gallon?

A ) For 1 hours machine uses 0.33 gallons of water

B ) For 1 gallon of water , machine will take 3 hours

∵ For every 9 hours , machines uses 3 gallons of water

∴ For 1 hour , machines uses

Or, For 1 hours machine uses
(1)/(3) gallons of water

I.e For 1 hours machine uses 0.33 gallons of water

Now, Again

∵ For 3 gallons of water , machine takes 9 hours

∴ For 1 gallon of water , machine will take
(9)/(3) hours

I.e For 1 gallon of water , machine will take 3 hours
