Answer: The educational system in Mesopotamia comprises only the intellect and the physical. The education of a young person of both sexes and higher classes involving scribe training. The purpose of education was to obtain the degree of scribe and to understand the language of men and gods. Discipline at school was severe, where the student was absent or struggling with physical cases. Students were rudely charged by the supervising masters and monitors, waiting for some carelessness or some art to justify the use of paddling.
