When writing an essay what to keep in mind​

1. Find a suitable topic - one you know about or one you can find out about.
2. Do proper research.
3. Organize your thoughts.
4. Ask yourself what your viewpoint is on the subject/topic of your essay.
5. What are the most important points you want to make?
6. Write a conclusion.
7. Once you have this in writing, you aren't finished!

depends on the essay, if it is an argumentative essay, i try to connect every paragraph to the thesis statement. the conclusion should explain why this thesis is important in the real world.
