Work out the equation of a line which has a gradient of 1/2 and passes through the point 4,-2? Pls answer i dont know

y-y1=m (x- x1)…………..(1)

Here m=1/2 and (x1,y1)= (4,-2)

(1) => y-4=1/2(x+2)

=> 2y-8=x+2

=> x-2y-10=0

So, equation of line is x-2y-10=0.
