I hate these questions. Why do they insist on turning geometry into algebra this way?

Let's call the unlabled interior triangle angle C. The sum of the three angles in the triangle are 180 degrees.

x + x+14 + C = 180

The 136 degree angle is a linear pair with C, so supplementary,

136 + C = 180

So we see

x + x + 14 = 136

2x = 122

x = 61

Answer: 61 degrees
