The length of a rectangle is 10 m more than its width if the perimeter of a rectangle is 80 m find the dimensions of the rectangle.(perimeter is just adding up all the sides)

Answer:

width= 15

length=25

Explanation:

width= x

length= 10+x

2(10+x+x)= 80

2(10+2x)= 80

20+4x= 80

4x=60

x= 15

width= x= 15

length= 10 +x= 10+15= 25
