The press are essentially journalists, reporters, or photographers, who need information for where they work, such as newspaper companies. The press are an important part of society because it allows people to form opinions on what they see and hear, other than it just coming from the officials themselves. The press in democracy is very important for this very reason, and lets the truth come out.
