The meaning of “I’ll have.”

Answer: B

A. Don’t know what you’re looking for
B. I want, when ordering food
C. I will wait for my family

In this case, let’s eliminate C right off the bat. It makes no sense in this context, “I’ll have” has no relation to “I will wait for my family.”

In a sense, “don’t know what you’re looking for” would in a way relate to “I’ll have.” If you’re ordering in a restaurant, when your grazing the menu seeing what you want, most people say, “I’ll have,” and continue searching from there. In another sense, unless you’re about to state what you want, you wouldn’t say “I’ll have.” So not knowing what you are looking for wouldn’t work.

However, B works the best. Again, with the food ordering example, when you’re about to order food many will say, “I’ll have,” and continue on with the rest of their statement. It makes the most sense out of your answers.

Therefore, your answer is B.
