HELPPPP!!!

How does the writer present the character of Hyde as evil in Chapter 8 and the whole novel??? (Jekyll and Hyde)

I can't remember in particular what happened in chapter 8 so I can't give any direct examples since I don't have my copy but the whole book has a very harsh separation from the base form of Jekyll and Hyde being personified dark urges and intent I hope this helps
