Work out the circumference of a circle with diameter 1.8 cm.

Take to be 3.142 and give your answer to 1 decimal place.

Answer: (approximatley) 6

Explanation:

Circumfrence= 2πr

R= 1/2 of diameter

1/2 of 1.8= 0.9

pi= 3.142

Round to nearest 10th.

Plug in:

2πr

2x3.142x0.9

1.8x3.142

5.6556

5.6556--> 5.66--> 5.6--> 6
