Answer: The intention was to turn pagans into Christians, they wanted to convert people and many of them were forced to convert so there was no reason to abolish pagan ideas when many people were forced to become Christians.

Why do you think that people tried to introduce ideas in a Christian way rather then abolishing pagan beliefs completely
