Answer:

A line having slope 10 passes through (-8,4)

So,eq of line becomes

y -4 = 10( x+8)

y-4 = 10x +80

y-10x = 84

As (w,-6) lies on a line

So, plugging above point in equation

y-10x=84

-6 -10w = 84

-10w = 90

w = -9

Good morning,

Answer:

w=-9

Explanation:

Line D:=10x+b

let’s find b:

A(-8,4)∈D ⇔ 4=10(-8)+b ⇔ b=84

then D:y=10x+84

B(w,-6)∈D ⇔ -6=10w+84 ⇔ -90=10w ⇔ w=-9

look at the two photos below either.
