Answer: The equation would be y=1x-11

Explanation:

slope of this line is 1

y=1x

3 times 1 = 3

to get from 3 to -8 we subtract 11

y=1x-11

Answer:

Given:

Slope(m)= 1

Passing Point = (3,-8)

Using one point formula,

y-y1 = m(x-x1)

or, y+8 = 1×(x-3)

or, y+8 = x - 3

or, x - y = 11

Now,

Dividing both sides by 11, we get

x/11 - y/11 = 1 --------i)

Comparing eqn. i) with slope intercept form [x/a + y/b = 1]
