Probability of any event E is defined as the CHANCES or a possibility of that event happening.

Similarly , Probability of an event NOT E is defined as the CHANCES or a possibility of that event NOT happening.

P(E) + P (not E) = 1

Now, here P(Event E ) = 0.95

So, P (not E) = 1 - P(E)

= 1 - 0.95 = 0.05

Hence, P(complement E ) = 0.05
