Explanation:

First we add the currency deposits. Then we need to add coin deposits and finally, the total deposits figure by adding them all and subtracting the figure of cash received. As shown below:

Currency Deposits = (9 x $1) + (9 x $5) + (8 x $10)

= 9 + 45 + 80

= 134

Coins Deposit = (14 x $0.5) + (25 x $0.10) + (18 x $0.05) + (64 x $0.01)

= $7 + $2.5 + $0.9 + $0.64

= $11.04

Total Deposits = ($134 + $11.04 + $231.09 + $987.67) - $40

= $1363.8 - $40

= $1323.8
