10 square meters can be covered with 12 liters of paint.

Explanation:

The area painted in 1.2 l of paint = 1 sq meters

Now, by UNITARY METHOD

So, the area painted in 1 L of paint =
((1)/(1.2)) m^(2)

or, the total area painted in 12 L of paint =
((1)/(1.2)  * 12) m^(2)

= 10 square meters

Hence, 10 square meters can be covered with 12 liters of paint.
