Jay needs 19 quarts more paint for the outside of his barn than for the inside.If he uses 107 quarts in all, how many gallons of paint will be used to paint the inside of the barn?

Keep in mind, there are approximately 4 quarts in a gallon.

To find how many quarts are only to be used inside, you can find the difference of 107 and 19.

Result should be 88 quarts.

Then divide that by 4 and you'll end up with 22 gallons.
