1. Why are the ants called "zombies"?​

Answer:

Because there behavior changes of the infected ants are very specific giving rise to the popular term "zombie ant's" and are turned for the benefit of the fungus. The spores of the fungus attach to and eventually break through the ants exoskeleton using mechanical pressure and enzymes. ( Now this is what I got from reading on Google so please write it in your own words please).
