Explanation: Drug standards are the characteristic and base for any drug for defining about the uniformity, quantity, quality , purity etc .The correct usage and intake amount are prescribed by the doctor and under that prescription the consumption should be done.

If an individual tries to change prescription, then it would manipulate the standards of the drug and may give negative results.

Thus, according to the question's situation practitioner should tell the client about the drug standards and that it should be maintained to keep surety about the purity , quantity, quality etc.
