The total volume is 36ft. In order to find the volume, you can split this up into 3 boxes.

The first box go with the dimensions of 3ft (length) by 2 ft (width) by 1ft (height), multiply that, you get 6ft

The second box go with the dimensions of 3ft (length) by 4ft (width) by 1ft (height), multiply that, you get 12ft

The third box go with the dimensions of 3ft (length) by 6ft (width) by 1ft (height), multiply that, you get 18ft

Lastly, add together the 3 boxes, (6+12+18), which you get 36ft, and since this is volume, it is 36ft cubed
