Answer and Explanation:

Conduction refers to the direct transfer of heat between objects that are in close contact with each other. Better conductors of heat transfer more rapidly compared to poor conductors. Metallic objects are good conductors of heat. the process of conduction occurs when a substance is heated and the particles gain more energy, and vibrate more. These molecules then collide with the nearby particles and transfer some of their energy to them. This process continues until the heat energy from the hot end down to the colder end of the substance is transferred effectively and evenly.
