What role does the water cycle play in the formation of acid rain ?

I don’t know if this will answer the question well but the water cycle takes up the water using evaporation. When other things like nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide are also very high up in the air, they mix with the water and other chemicals to change the ph to a more acidic level, causing acid rain
