If a Ferris wheel can accomodate 45 people in 25 minutes, how many people could ride the Ferris wheel in 2 hours?

First, we need to transform hours to minutes. To do so, we know that 1 hour has 4 quarters where each one represents 25 minutes.

Now, if 45 people can be accommodated in 25 minutes, that means we have to multiply 45 by 8, to find the number for 2 hours. Becuase, as we said before, 25 minutes is the fourth part of an hour, and we have 2.


45* 8=360

Therefore, in two hours, the Ferris wheel can transport 360 people.
