Three times two less than a number is greater than or equal to five times the number. Find all of the numbers that satisfy the given conditions.

x = -3 , -4, -5, .... are all possible solutions.

Explanation:

Let the given such number = x

Now, Three times two less than the number = 3(x -2)

Five times the number = 5x

So, according to the question:

3(x -2) ≥ 5x

or, 3x - 6 ≥ 5x

or, - 6 ≥ 5x -3x

or , 2x ≤ -6

⇒ x ≤ -3

That implies, the given number is less than or equal to (-3)

So all values which are equal to or less than -3 will satisfy the given condition.

Hence, x = -3 , -4, -5, .... are all possible solutions.
