In regard to actin(the thin filaments) and myosin (the thick filaments), how do

muscles contract?

The globular heads of myosin tie actin, framing cross-spans between the good and bad fibers. This development slides the actin fibers from the two sides of the sarcomere toward the M line, shortening the sarcomere and bringing about muscle withdrawal.
