What were changes in the government after the American and French Revolutions​

the United States created a democratic government, made changes from the Articles of Confederation to the Constitution. France constructed a tyrannical government & a dictatorship under the rule of Napoleon. a similarity was that both France and the US were both seeking a permanent government & went through periods of adjustment for that.
