When solving for you it would equal 6 so U=6 hope that helps

Step one: isolate the variable by subtracting 10 on both sides of the equation (just don’t subtract it from -2u)
Step two: -8 divided by -2u (you get -8 by subtracting 2 from -10)
**negative divided by a negative us a positive
Answer: u = 4
