Q) How many three-digit numbers can be formed are greater than 340 from the digits

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 if each digit can be used only once ?

Considering that every 6-digits number is greater than 340, the question becomes:

"how numbers can we make using the digits from 1 to 6 once?"

The answer is the number of permutations of six elements, which is 6!:


6!=6\cdot 5\cdot 4\cdot 3\cdot 2=720
