 I HEAR
 by Chloe hante en
the ettes of eagles owoke my peaceful sumber
snoring tools through the wall and out
into space somewhere, bouncing off walls and trees
The pitter on the window tell me it's raining,
Aloud boom sounds as my dog comes running,
toe naiselle king on the hard floor
Aflash of light hits the tree outside and cracks
or the tree slowly fails to the ground
 I hear weather crashing crashing
 Seashells aracking
 wars roaring
 and crabs snapping
And I hear the yellow sun sparkling.

 What I Hear
 by Tessah Joseph, Gr. 4
I hear the rumble of the washers in a laundromat,
I hear the crack of lightning during the storm.
I hear the click of the heels on the high school dance floor
I hear the asteroids flying by Mars
I hear the whispers as children share secrets
I hear the recess bell buzzing in my ear.
I hear the scraping of boot nails on the Matterhorn
I hear Paul Bunyan chopping down trees.
 SILENCE
 by Christopher Bingham Gk
 I hear silence,
 terrible, awful silence,
 boring. boring silence.
 Trying my patience,
 making me mad,
 ahhhhhh, I yell.
 I break the silence,
 but I make happiness.
