Torsion is the force produced by the twisting of the organs of the body on its own longitudinal axis with respect to the other organ of the body.

The knee joints of the leg can be injured by twisting of the leg keeping the feet in a fixed position which cause the twisting of the knee in a wrong manner and cause injury.
