Answer and Explanation:

The concentration of water determines the rate of trasnpiration and evaporation in plants. When levels of water are less in the soil, then the concentration of solutes in the sap vacuole is more. This leads to closure of the stomata on the leaves to prevents excessive loss of water. The trasnpiartional pull also reduces.
