The role of religion played in the seven year war was that, the british and french were fighting of control on the ohio river valley. Both of these sides wanted the valley so they could expand their settlements, and in turn spread their own religion. Hence the term used by colonist "The triple G", God, Gold, and Glory, everything that either wanted or wanted to spread.
